Donald E. Knuckles
Donald E. Knuckles, 71, of Freeburg, Illinois, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. Mr. Knuckles was born May 23, 1941 the son of Fred and Daisy Knuckles in Etowa, AR.
Donald grew up working the cotton fields of Arkansas with his family. Later as a young man he moved to East St. Louis, IL and met his wife of 44 years Brenda. He started D & D Motors in 1971 in Washington Park Illinois, later in 1975 they relocated to West Main St. in Belleville. He worked over 40 years with his family to expand the business into multiple locations. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working at the business. He will be missed but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association
Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 pm-8:00pm, Wednesday May 30, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Seger officiating. Private family entombment will be at Greenmount Protestant Cemetery.
