Rev. Leslie J. Spainhower
Rev. Leslie J. Spainhower, 95, of Caseyville, Illinois, born Saturday, December 23, 1916, in East Saint Louis, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
He married Gertrude F. Hatcher in 1936, They were blessed with two daughters.
He was ordained to the ministry in 1952 and served as a missionary in the Belgian Congo from 1954-1956 and again from 1958-1960. He was an electrical engineer for Sverdrup & Parcel in St. Louis, MO when he retired in 1981. He also was a United States WW II Air Force veteran.
Rev. Spainhower was preceded in death by his:

- Parents: Lloyd and Corinta nee Southard Spainhower
- Brother: Lloyd Spainhower

Funeral: Private graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri on Friday February 3, 2012.
