Albeno "Al" Dori

Albeno "AL" Dori, 87, of Millstadt, Illinois, born Tuesday, November 11, 1924, in Republic, AL, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Al was the former co-owner and operater for Dori Excavating Co.and Dori Development company. He was a member of Saint James Catholic Church in Millstadt Illinois.  He was a member of Operating Engineer Local #520, original stock holder and developer of Tamarack Golf Course, and former chairman of the grounds committee.
 
In the last 3 years of his life, he fought back from a critical illness to enjoy his family, friends and garden.


He was preceded in death by his:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospital or American Parkinson Disease Association.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Msgr. Marvin Volk. Interment will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.
