Mary E. Green

Mary E. Green, nee Johnston, 90, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Saturday, January 10, 1920, in Hannibal, MO, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Green was a member of Friends of Fairview Heights Library and Fairview Heights Womens Club. She was a member and very active in Christ United Methodist Church and in the UMW Club at the Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her:

• Husband: Francis W. Green
• Parents: Lawrence Johnston and Lula, nee Mosley Duncan
• Daughter: Malinda Grimming
• Grandson: Brian Grimming
• Son-in-Law: Mike Mulconnery

Surviving are her:

By her request, cremation was held.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Fairview Heights Library or Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Memorial Service: Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Christ United Methodist Church, Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Shane Bishop officiating. Private interment.
