Clifford W. Weldon
Clifford W. Weldon, 85, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Tuesday, October 13, 1925, in Covington, KY, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Parkway Gardens Assisted Living in Fairview Heights, IL.
Mr. Weldon was a retired pharmacist for Memorial Hospital and previous owner of Weldon Prescription Shop. He was a life member of Westview Baptist Church in Swansea, IL, former Deacon of the church and served on the building committee. He was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and a past president of the American Pharmaceutical Board. Clifford also participated in the experimental trial for Parkinson Research at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He was a U.S. Army Aircorp WWII and Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Westview Baptist Church
Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Greg Sutter officiating Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
