Lloyd E. Karasek

Lloyd E. Karasek, 94, of Belleville, Illinois, born Friday, December 14, 1917, in Alton, IL, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Karasek was a veteran serving in the Air Force during  World War II.  Lloyd was the Co-Owner of Karasek Ceramics and retired in 1980 from Advance Printing as a printer. He was associated with Signal Hill Lutheran Church, Belleville, Illinois.  

He was preceded in death by his:

  • Brother: Edward Karasek


Surviving are his:

  • Wife: Helen, nee Wolters, Karasek of Belleville, Illinois married on August 20, 1949

Visitation:  Friends may call from 5:00 to 6:00 pm,  Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Wiesner officiating.  Interment will be privately held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
