Thomas R. Aye
Thomas R. "Tommy" Aye, 51, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, January 16, 1959, in Belleville, IL, died June 24, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Aye worked as a Crane Operator. He served in the United States Army.
Tommy was a loyal friend and brother, who loved his family unconditionally. His family loved him, too. Tommy fought a life-long battle against a ruthless enemy of alcoholism. With the help of his friends, family, VA Hospital and Salvation Army, he fought "the good fight". Tommy lost the earthly battle. He needs long-term care that only God can provide. May the peace of the Lord be with you, Tommy.

Funeral: Graveside service will be held 10:00am on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL with Rev. Larry Patton offiiciating.

I don't know if you remember me, but I was a good friend of Tom's in high school. I was shocked to hear!! I am sorry for your loss, and only wished that I would have kept in touch with Tom. He is a very strong memory in my past, as well as many of his and my other friends I'm sure. I only wish the best for you and your sisters, and pray that you can take some comfort at this time. I will be including you all in my prayers!
