Mary Lynn Becker, nee Maher, 66, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, March 13, 1944, in St. Louis, MO, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL surrounded by her children.

Mrs. Becker worked as a teacher in the mid 60's at Slade Grade School in East St. Louis, IL and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Husband: Robert E. Becker Sr.
  • Parents: Thomas and Anita nee Bertling, Maher

Surviving are her:

Mary Lynn has left a wonderful world of people who have been a part of our lives.  She left a part of her in each of them. 

Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School or Poor Clare's Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy

Visitation: Friends may call from 9-11 A.M., Friday, June 25 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, IL.  

Funeral: There will be a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Friday, June 25, 2010 at Our Lady Queen of Peace, with Father Clyde Grogan officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
