Irene Hansen

Irene Hansen, 96, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, January 2, 1914, in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. Pauls Home in Belleville.

Miss Hansen worked as a secretary for Western Weighing Inspection Bureau. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Belleville, IL, Belleville Rebecca Lodge #415 P.N.G., Past President of Wednesday Club Inc., Mary Martha Society, Past President of St. Louis Chapter National Association of Railroad Business Women, and Senior Citizen's Club of Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Parents: Theodore A. and Hattie, nee Strasser, Hansen.

Funeral: Private graveside services will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Oakhill Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana.
