Ronald Lee Mordhorst
Ronald Lee Mordhorst, 72, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, March 19, 1938, in Waukegan, IL, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Mr. Mordhorst graduated from Waukegan Township High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University and a Masters degree from Webster College. He was a retired programmer and in management for Defense Mapping Agency and Aerospace Center. He was a member, elder, trustee and deacon of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL. He received the Church Man of the Year award in 2010 and was very active in mission projects for the church. He was a member of Gothic Lodge #852 AF& AM, Lewis and Clark Chapter Sons of the American Revolution, American Legion Post #2007 in Swansea, IL, and long time Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor with Signal Hill Troup #520. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M., Monday, October 18, 2010, at the Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL and from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at First United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Alex Hendrickson and Rev. Jennifer Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at Green Mount Protestant Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
