Beulah G. Komeshak
Beulah G. Komeshak, nee Lashley, 93 of Belleville, IL., born Friday, February 8, 1918 in Swansea, IL., died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Paul's Home in Belleville, IL.
Mrs. Komeshak was the former pro at Stein's Bowl in St. Louis, MO., and manager at Bel-Air Bowl in Belleville, IL. One of her favorite accomplishments was to have established the Youth Leagues at Bel-Air. She was the proud teacher of many area young bowlers. An avid athlete, she played semi-professional softball for many years and enjoyed golf most of her life. Her preference was to be outside in the fresh air, gardening or playing with her grand and great grandchildren. She was a past active member in the Scott AFB Officers Wives Club, was a River Bluffs Girl Scout Leader and was very active at St. Paul U.C.C. in Belleville. She was in the PEO chapter CT.
Her proudest accomplishment was her family and her expectations of us were simple: always do the right thing and treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. You taught us by example. We will miss you, G.
