Ben K. Sashankar, 58, of Belleville, Illinois, born Wednesday, August 12, 1953, in Calcutta, India, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at  his residence.

Ben was a retired social worker.  

He was preceded in death by his:

Funeral:  A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at residence from 9:00am to 11:00am.
