Eric Mathew Ballard, 22, of Belleville, Illinois, born Tuesday, October 3, 1989, in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his residence.

Eric worked as a produce clerk for Schnucks in Swansea.

He was preceded in death by his:

Funeral:  Private family services were held.

    We have known Eric since he was a small child. Eric was always polite when he would come over and talk to us. We will always miss him. George and I were proud of Eric when he would tell us about his job at Schnucks and how much he liked working there. I will miss making cupcakes for him. Eric will be missed greatly. No words can take away the pain his family is going through but Eric knew his whole family and friends were there for him when he needed them. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
