My Dad flew in WWII with Ed and enjoyed his company very much. He spoke very highly of him always and always yearned for the next meeting with him. They stayed in contact throughout their lifetimes. The good news is that their WWII crew are now all together in heaven and likely having a grand old time. Ed was always very kind and smiled and laughed with ease. He was a fine man and will be missed by all who knew him. My Dad sure thought he was the greatest and so do I! My deepest condolences to his loving family.
