Carolyn S. Brown, nee Hall, 72, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, July 25, 1939, in Herrin, IL, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Shiloh, IL was she was very active, former member of St. Clair County Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Parents:  William E. and Cesta F. nee Wood Hall 
• Brother: Gary E. Hall

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL and from 9:00 am -10:00 am Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, with Rev. Beverly Wilkes-Null, officiating.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, East Carondelet, IL.
