Edwin K. "Ed" Gutterman

Edwin K. "Ed" Gutterman, 83, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born Sunday, April 15, 1928, in Saint Louis, MO, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Edwin worked as a clerk for Springmeier Shipping Company in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of East Lodge 504 A.F & A.M (past secretary), Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine (passed commander of the Legion of Honor), Queen City Chapter 697 O.E.S. (past patron) and White Shrine (W.O.S.). He was also a United States Navy World War II and Korean War Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children

Visitation:  Friends may call from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois. There will be a masonic service at 11:00 am Monday at the Funeral Home.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
