Rose M. Babinsky

Rose M. Babinsky, nee , 84, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, December 8, 1926, in East St. Louis, IL, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Maryville Manor in Maryville, IL.

Miss Babinsky worked as a seamstress for Martha Manning Dress Factory. After her retirement she helped the elderly with appointments and grocery shopping. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Belleville, IL and former member of St. Martin of Tours in Washington Park, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her:

She is survived by and will be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Catholic Urban Program-Food Pantry or in the form of a mass. 

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M., Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. There will be a 4:00pm rosary at the funeral home on Monday.

Funeral: A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL at 9:45am, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 for a 10:00 am mass of Christian Burial at Saint Henry Catholic Church in Belleville, IL with Father Kenneth York officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

    Please accept my sympathy on the death of your aunt Rose. I remember her as a very kind person with a good sense of humor. I always enjoyed talking to her. I was a friend of the Zajac family, and we bowled together one season many, many years ago.
