W. Robert "Bob" Howell
W. Robert "Bob" Howell, 81, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, September 27, 1928, in E. St. Louis, IL, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence with family by his side..
Mr. Howell was a self employed Carpenter and a member of Local #169 for 60 years. He was a member of Swansea Baptist Church, a 52 year member of St. Clair Lodge #24 AF&AM, a 49 year member of Scottish Rite Bodies, a 48 year member of Ainad Shrine, a past patron of Eastern Star, an honorary Demolay member and an avid bowler until 2003. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by:

He is survived by:
- Wife of 58 years: Rosetta, nee Cawvey, Howell
- Daughter: Lucretia
- Three Grandchildren
- Two Great-Grandchildren
- Brothers-in-Law
- Fletcher (Wanda) Cawvey of Fairview Heights, IL
- Homer (Betty) Cawvey of St. Louis, MO
- Sister-in-Law: Betty Lafferty of Belleville, IL

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital or donors choice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, February 26, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Wilson Wickiser officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
