Patricia M. Sforza

Patricia M. Sforza, 79, of Belleville, died March 12, 2010. She was born February 17, 1931, in Weldon, IL.

She was a retired registered nurse for St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville and was a graduate of Julia F. Burnham School of Nursing in Champaign, IL. She received her Associate of Science degree from Belleville Area College in 1965. She loved to travel, read, and crochet. Her favorite job was as a First Aid nurse at the Edward Jones Dome during Rams games. She was a member of the Burnham Alumnae, AARP, MENSA, and the Farm Bureau.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Husband: Robert E. Sforza whom she married August 16, 1952, and who died in 1974.
• Parents: Kenneth and Marie (Olson) Edwards whom were from Farmer City, IL.

She is survived by:

• Children

  • Paul A. (Laura Havlin) of Belleville, IL

Local Visitation: Friends may call from 2-6pm Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL

Visitation: Friends may call from 1-3pm Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Calvert - Belangee - Bruce Funeral Home, in Farmer City, IL.

Funeral: Graveside services will be held at 3pm at the Weldon Cemetery in Weldon, IL
