Phillip D. Head Jr., 66, of Belleville, Illinois, born Sunday, September 9, 1945, in Waverly, KY, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Mr. Head was the owner of Custom Design Inc. in Belleville, IL. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Belleville, IL, past member of Home Builders Association and the Belleville Elks. Phillip also was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran and a bronze star recipient.

He was preceded in death by his:

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois. A prayer service will be held at 4:30pm Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral:  A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral  Home in Belleville, IL at 9:45am, Saturday, September 24, 2011 for a 10:00 am mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Belleville, Illinois with Father Jack McEvilly officiating.  Interment will follow at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
