Condolences left for Earl D. Morris:

I met Earl and his wife in the parking lot of Schnucks in west Belleville on May 24, 2010. We wound up talking for almost an hour about a variety of things, including his service in World War II and his role on Utah Beach in the D-Day landings in France. We bumped into each other again at the Post Office less than two months later, and my wife was with me and was able to meet Earl, who shared more good stories. Wonderful man. I wish I could have met him many years earlier.
