Nancy J. Stone

 

Nancy J. Stone, nee Wright, 76, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born Friday, March 27, 1936, in Fairview Heights, IL, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Nancy worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 19 1/2 years. She was a member of Crossroad Christian Church in Caseyville Illinois and was a church and Illini School volunteer.  

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Husband: Charles H. Stone 
  • Parents: George M. and  Dorothy M. nee Moon Wright

Surviving are her:

  • Daughter: Linda J. (Tod) Becker of Fairview Heights, IL 
  • Grandsons:
    • Jonathan M.
    • Joshua W. Becker

Memorials:  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association

Visitation:  Friends may call from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Douglas Cripe and Rev. George Szabolcsi officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
