Gene was a good man who dearly loved his family and was a tower of strength to those of us in his church family. He was a gentle man who knew his worth and gave freely of his time and talent. He will truly be missed. God bless Rose and the rest of the his family.

Dear Rose,
My love and prayers go out to you and the family as you continue to celebrate the blessings Gene shared. There are simply too many warm feelings and experiences I will always cherrish to post in this small space. Gene was the first person to come to our house twelve years ago when Dick died. I am sure that Dick was among the first in line to greet Gene and show him the ropes in Heaven. Can't you imagine the fun they are having? Gene was a good friend and an "angel" on earth to Dick and others. Now Gene is everyone's anagel in heaven.

Rose,
We were out of town for a couple weeks and just saw that Gene passed away. We wanted to express our sympathies to you. We enjoyed meeting him and talking with the two of you when you would come for honey. Please be assured of our prayers at this time.

Dear Rose:
Gene was the best boss I ever had. I worked for him in 1985 when I was pregnant with my son Robert and could not work in the lab due to the lead exposure.
He reminded my of my father who passed in 1979. They were both warm, generous, and loving people capable of great empathy and understanding.
Although I have not kept in touch, I have always remembered him fondly. I know how happy he was to find you. You gave each other many years of happiness I am sure.
