Ada E. Smith

Ada E. Smith, nee , Cryder , of Fairview Hgts, Il, born , March 3, 1914 went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 22, 2009.

Ada was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairview Hgts for over 60 years. She was active in the church as a Sunday School Teacher, W.M.U. President and Mission Friends Leader. Ada was a 1931 graduate of Trenton Illinois High School and is the only surviving member as of 2007.She was employed by the Baptist Book Store in St. Louis, Mo., know now as "Lifeway" for 20 years.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mission Fund at the First Baptist Church, Fairview Hgts, IL.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Fairview Hgts, and 9a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2009 until time of service.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
