Burton Jefferson Mullins, Jr.

Burton Jefferson Mullins, Jr., 89, of Millstadt, IL, born Tuesday, April 13, 1920, in E. St. Louis, IL, died Monday, August 3, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Mullins worked as a Bus Driver for Bi-State Transit. He served in the Marines during WWII and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Amalgamated Transit Union Workers.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5-7 P.M., Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:15 am Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Patton officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
