Ruth M. McCord, nee Morrison, 87, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, August 31, 1921, in Anacortes, Washington, died Friday, June 5, 2009 in Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Mrs. McCord worked was a Homemaker. She was as active member of the Community Church of Vista from 1957 until her move to Illinois where she attended the First Baptist Church in O'Fallon, IL.

Ruth was a loving and devoted wife and mother who was a sweet and gentle soul. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the National Arthritis Assn. or to the Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
Funeral: By her request cremation was held in Illinois. A graveside service will be held on June 26, 2009 at 12:30pm at the Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside, California where she will be laid to rest between her husband and son.
