Eugene Logsdon

Eugene Logsdon, 88, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, May 30, 1921, in Broughton, Illinois, died Saturday November 21, 2009 at Four Fountains Nursing Home, Belleville, IL.

Mr. Logsdon worked as a Butcher for Swift & Co. for 28 years and a Custodian for Emge Ellis School District #175 for 16 years. He was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church (Paul Sunday School class) and a member of the American Legion.

He is preceded in death by:

    • whom he married on Oct. 8, 1946 and who died Oct. 26, 2007

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Dr. Steve Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208.
