Patti Dean Howard, 83, of Belleville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. She was born on Tuesday, August 17, 1926, in E. St. Louis, IL, the daughter of John L. and Ethel Way, nee Ferguson, Howard.
She devoted 40 years of her career at Southwestern Bell Telephone, retiring in 1984. She was a former member of Queen of Peace Parish and presently residing at the Apartment Community at Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. She was a loving, kind and generous lady who loved her family and friends dearly. She was active in Chapter EY PEO, Junior Women's Club, Junior Service Club and a member of the St. Clair Country Club.

She was also the proud and greatly beloved aunt of 13 Great Nieces and Nephews and14 Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
Pat was also blessed by special cousin, Jo Frances Vallo and by numerous close friends, who were dear to her heart.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows
Visitation: Friends may call from10:00 to 11:15 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Apartment Community Chapel at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:15 am Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Apartment Community Chapel at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, with Father George Capen officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
