Vera C. Herr, nee Rahm, 87, of Swansea, IL, born Tuesday, April 25, 1922, in Red Bud, IL, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Herr worked as a cashier for Belleville East High School for 23 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL, past Deacon at Church, Church Librarian, Women's Auxiliary, Swansea Moose and charter member of VFW Auxiliary # 6632 in Red Bud, IL

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 16, 2009 at First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville with Rev. Alex Hendrickson officiating. Private family interment.
