Francis A. Clanney, 85, of Maryville, IL, born Wednesday, November 28, 1923, in East St. Louis, IL, died Monday, May 11, 2009 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St Louis, MO.

Mr. Clanney was a retired Business Representative for International Association of Machinist District 9. He was a member of Edgemont Bible Church, Local 313 IAM and a U.S. WWII Navy Veteran.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3-8 P.M., Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL and from 10-11am Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Edgemont Bible Church in Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Edgemont Bible Church, with Rev. Doug White officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
