William L. "Bill" Jeremias, 69, of Lebanon, IL, born June 25, 1938 in E. St. Louis, IL, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.

Mr. Jeremias was retired after serving 35 years as a Deputy Sheriff for St. Clair County and former police officer for E. St. Louis for over 10 years. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police #148 and a volunteer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
