William J. Bonine Jr.,

William J. Bonine Jr., 77, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, October 3, 1931, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, died Friday, November 14, 2008 in Memorial Hospital, Belleville.

Mr. Bonine retired as an aeronautical engineer for McDonnell Douglas after 30 years and was a salesman for Franklin Covey for 8 years. He was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church, Fairview Heights and Toastmasters, was formerly active in Guideon's and was a member of the Parker Road Baptist Church in Florissant, Missouri. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Winstanley Baptist Church or Blessed Sacrament School Endowment Fund.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2-5 pm on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, Nov. 17, at Kurrus Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Phillips and Fr. Ed Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
