Mrs. Armstong was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Belleville, IL. She was a Retired Teacher for District 118 of Belleville . She was a member of St. Clair County Teachers Assoc., Illinois Teachers Assoc., Stephen Minister, Deacon and Elder of the First United Presbyterian Church, Co-Founder of the Pre-school in the Presbyterian Church.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday July 22, 2008 at First United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Greg Stovell officiating.
Second Services: Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Pyatt- Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckeyville, IL with Funeral Services held at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Galum Cemetary, Pinckneyville, IL
