Beverly (“Mickey”) Ann Pace, née Jones, 84, of Belleville, Illinois, was born Wednesday, February 7, 1934, in Lewisport, Kentucky. She passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Beverly worked as a librarian at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville for over 20 years. She was a long-term member of Winstanley Baptist Church, Fairview Heights, Illinois, a lover of classical music, opera, the St. Louis Symphony, and the Missouri Botanical Garden. Her greatest talent was home decorating. She also nurtured an abiding love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her absence will be long and deeply felt.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, James and Linda, née Draves, Jones, her first husband, Benjamin Pace, and grandson, Samuel Jeyes.
Surviving are her husband, James Houpt of O’Fallon, Illinois; 2 daughters, Rebecca Jeyes of Saint Louis, Missouri; Beth (Peter) Tiggelaar of Grapevine, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin (Denise) Pace-Borah; Amelia (Andrew David) Pace-Borah; Bryan (Nora) Tiggelaar; Nellie Tiggelaar; Clara Tiggelaar, and 4 great-grandchildren: David, Caroline, Kaylee, and Mirabai.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at Winstanley Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 10th, with the Reverend Fielding Poe officiating. The interment date will be announced to family and friends at a later date.
