Sharon and family. I fondly remember serving with Terry at the AF Global Weather Central when he was Chief of the long-range forecasting element -- an immense challenge and extension of the state of the art of weather forecasting. Terry's success was remarkable. I was sad to hear he had cancer and am very sorry for your loss.

I served with Terry in Vietnam at the SE Asia Weather Center in 1970-71. Terry was the team chief for the night shift and provided many critical weather forecasts for the air and ground operations. He was a good team leader and easy to work with and he will be remembered. My condolences to Sharon and the family.

Sharon and family. I had the distinct pleasure to serve with Terry at Scott AFB in the 7WW. He had a great sense of dedication and patriotism. I'm so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed hearing Terry share his mountain climbing, skiing, and sailing stores and his experiences in the Air Force.

Terry Safford was a member of St. Matthew UMC where he devoted a great deal of his time to the ministry of Sound and TV. He always seemed to enjoy his work for the church. He always had a kind word and was most willing to help any place he was needed. He leave a wonderful family who have also been a very active part of StM. He was loved by his family and by his church and his old pastor. Our prayers are with his family.
