A gentleman of impeccable character and intellect. Always carried himself with so much class, dignity and integrity. A great American. So many admirable accomplishments that deserved much respect. He was a devoted family man,...a tremendous attorney, golfer, horseman and card player. He will be sorely missed by all his friends and family. We draw comfort that he has now joined his beloved wife who he cared about so deeply. In Florida where he has spent some winter seasons.....we all share a heart-felt toast to "Johnny B" Our dear friend..... Cheers!

Dear Mr. Bauman, I have always respected & admired you. Many years ago on the golf course, you taught me a ‘life lesson' (that I have not forgotten). When I’m tempted to improve my lie, I remember your words: “We play the ball DOWN... because that is how the game is played… If you touch it again, it will cost you another stroke.” I lost that match, paid my debt & took those words to heart every day thereafter. Probably the best $10 I ever spent... You made me a better golfer (& a better man). I got your meaning Sir - Follow the rules, take what life gives you & always be honest. Taking the easy way out may win you the match; but in the end, you didn’t earn it... Rest in peace and thank you for your service Mr. B...
