Maxine Hipskind Boggeman
, nee Bishop, 84, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, January 21, 1927, in Memphis, TN, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at home surrounded by her many children and loved ones.

Mrs. Boggeman was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Belleville, IL, St. Clair County Medical Auxiliary, Blessed Sacrament PTO, Althoff Mothers' Club, and a former Blessed Sacrament School Board member.

She was preceded in death by:

  • Daughter: Mary Eileen Hipskind
  • Brother: Hines Bishop
  • Granddaughter: Caitlin Howard

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or Serra Foundation.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M., Monday, March 14 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois. There will be a Serra Club prayer service Monday at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral: A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville at 9:40 am, March 15, 2011 for a 10:00 am mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with Father Matthew Elie and Father James Margason officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
