Ernest R. Hempe

Ernest R. Hempe, 90, of Swansea, IL, born Saturday, August 28, 1920, in Belleville, IL died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Hempe retired as a Electronics Manufacturer Representative. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Parents: Fred and Prudence, nee Bennett, Hempe
• Sister: Bernice Knaggs

Surviving are his:

• Wife: Pauline "Pat", nee Toon, Hempe
• Cousins
  • Howard Bennett of Belleville, IL
  • Delores Thal of Phoenix, AZ
  • Many Nieces and Nephews

By his request, cremation was held.

Funeral: Private interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
