Margaret F. Schaefer

Margaret F. Schaefer, nee Jones, 74, of Smithton, IL. formerly of Centreville, IL, born Saturday, June 18, 1938, in East St. Louis, IL, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at her residence in Smithton, Illinois.

Margaret worked as a Cook for Cat and the Fiddle for 22 years. She was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Church in Centreville, IL and currently a member at St. John the Baptist Church in Smithton, IL.  She was also a member of the Parents-Teachers Association, Mothers Club and a Parish Council member of Centreville, IL.  

She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Per the family's request in lieu of flowers memorials contributions are requested to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Saint John The Baptist in Smithton, Illinois.

Memorial Service:  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Saint John The Baptist, with Father Stan Konieczny officiating. By her request cremation was held with a private interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
