Gladys M. Litsey, nee Marshall, 99, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, August 11, 1910, in Granite City, IL, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at her residence.
Married to Dr. Charles H. Litsey for 58 years, Gladys was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. After her marriage on February 11, 1933, she worked at Shell Oil Company in St. Louis while her husband earned his degree in podiatry medicine in Chicago, IL. She managed his office in E. St. Louis and later in Belleville, before retiring to be a stay-at-home wife and grandma. But, her favorite hobbies were dancing with her husband and taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Alex Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
