, nee Brown, 81, of Belleville, Illinois, born Friday, July 11, 1930, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL.


She was a member of Signal Hill United Methodist Church, Belleville Illinois, where she was a Sunday school teacher, and the Women's Society

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Husband: Edward L. Lougeay Jr. 
  • Parents:   Orville H. and Mildred E. nee Tipton Brown 
  • Sister: Frances J. DeFrates

Surviving are her: 

  • Daughter: Julie (Michael) Maxwell of Belleville, IL
  • Son: Scott (Shellie) Lougeay of Belleville, IL 
  • Brother: Kenneth O. Brown of Belleville, IL 
  • Brother-in-law: Irv DeFrates Jr. of Belleville, IL

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert  Edwards and Rev. James Wheeler officiating  Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
