Robert L. Anderson Jr.

Robert L. Anderson, Jr., 61, of Freeburg, Illinois, born Wednesday, May 30, 1951, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence in Freeburg, Illinois.

Robert worked as an Iron Worker for  Iron Workers #392, E. St. Louis, IL.  He was a member of Shiloh Eagles #545, Rock Mountain Elk Foundation, N.R.A., International Rodeo Association, and Southwest Missouri Rodeo Association .  

He was preceded in death by his:

  • Mother: Edith I. nee Harris Anderson

  • Father: Robert L. Anderson Sr. of Millstadt, IL

Will be dearly missed by his brother and best friend, Jeffrey.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. David Raynaud officiating . By his request cremation was held.

    So very sorry for your loss. Keeping you all in my prayers. I didn't spend much time around Rob, but talking with him at the rodeos and seeing him around town, he was always full of joy and life. I know he will be missed.
