Doris L. Prader,
nee Griffin, 87, of Belleville, Illinois, born Monday, November 24, 1924, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Monday, February 13, 2012 at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Waterloo, IL.


Doris was a retired secretary for Hunter Packing Company. She was a former member of First United Presbyterian Church Belleville Illinois, East Saint Louis Junior Service Club and East Saint Louis Jayceettes .  

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Husband; George A. Prader
  • Parents: John E. and Hazel nee Martin Griffin
  • Brother: Keith  Griffin
  • Nephew: Laddie Daye Jr.

Surviving are her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association and Heartland Hospice

Visitation:  Friends may call from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Memorial:  Memorial services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with  officiating. Private family burial was held at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
