James Leroy Derrick

James Leroy Derrick, 91, of Belleville, Illinois, born Saturday, July 31, 1920, in Trenton, MS, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea, Illinois.

James was retired from the United States Air Force. He was a member of  Scottish Rite Bodies, and Ainad Temple. He was a World War II Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Wife: Gertrude nee Bishop Derrick
• Parents: Roy and Lillie Mae nee Barnes Derrick

Surviving are his:

• Daughter: Rachel Jeremais of Chicago, IL
• Son: Robert Derrick of Seaford, DE

Funeral:  By his request cremation was held.  Private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
