Gladys V. (Hester) Summers, nee Mathes, 96, of Saint Peters, MO,formerly of East St. Louis, IL born Monday, March 23, 1914, in Arno, Missouri, died Monday, December 13, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Peters, MO.

Mrs. Summers was a retired seamstress for House of Sharon and was a member of Assembly of God of O'Fallon.

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M., Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 17, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Dale Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
