Samuel H. Hobson Jr., 60, of Swansea, IL, born Monday, August 8, 1949, in Denver, Colorado, died Monday, February 15, 2010 at Jefferson Barracks Medical Center in St Louis, MO.
Mr. Hobson Jr. worked as a Mechanic for Bi-State Bus Company in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Belleville, IL, Christ is the Answer Missionary Group and U.S. Navy Vietnam War veteran.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL and from 10-11 A.M., Thursday, February 18, 2010 at First Assembly of God in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 18, 2010 at First Assembly of God, with Rev. David Raynaud officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
