Lucille V. Morgan, nee Shannon , 93, of Belleville, Illinois, born Monday, February 11, 1918, in East St. Louis, IL, died Monday, October 31, 2011 at Liberty Village  in Maryville, IL.

Lucille worked as a secretary for East St. Louis Housing Authority. .

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Parents: Edward and Margaret nee Dofflow, Shannon
  • Daughter: Sandy Cruce
  • 2 brothers
  • 5 sisters

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral procession to leave Kurrus Funeral Home at 12:45 pm Thursday November 3, 2011 for a 1:00 pm  Mass of Christian burial at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with Father Matthew Elie officiating  Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
