Charlene Thomas

Charlene Thomas, nee Garner, 83, of Belleville, Illinois, born Tuesday, October 16, 1928, in Murphysboro, IL , died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Memorial Care Center in Belleville, Illinois.

Mrs. Thomas was a Retired Loan Clerk for Bank of St. Louis. She was a longtime member of 1st Baptist Church of Fairview Heights,  the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan.  

She was preceded in death by her:

• Daughter and Son in Law: Dr. Gail Thomas and Jim Moore of New York, NY
• Many nieces and nephews

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday, October 24, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Bryan Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL
