It’s such a shock to learn of Eldred's passing, words cannot express my sorrow. He was a man that I've looked up to since I was a kid and I have so many fond memories of him. It’d be great to go back to those days of finding him in the fields, enjoying a beer with him, having drinks to the sounds of Bob Tyler, or just having a good ol’ down-home talk. He was a true friend to my family and to so very many people. A benefactor to many and a gentleman to all. He was truly loved by my family. Thankfully, I had the occasion to speak with him a few times over the past couple of years; I had always meant to get together with him again. I'll miss you Eldred, your friendship meant the world to me and you made that world a better place. I appreciate the many kind words and the wisdom that you offered me throughout the years. My condolences to his family and friends....
