Flora L. Tauchert

Flora L. Tauchert, nee Cruikshank, 86, of Bartlett, Tennessee formerly of Fairview Heights, born Tuesday, April 6, 1926, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Quince Rehabilitation Center in Memphis, TN.

Flora retired from Grant School as a Teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairview Heights and a Sunday school teacher, Teacher's Sorority, and NEA at Grant School.  

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles West officiating  Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

    I was a 1st grader in Mrs Tauchert's 1979-1980 class at Bunkum school. She is still remembered as one of my favoite teachers! My prayers are with your family.

    My condolences Linda, Jim and Patty for the loss of your lovely Mom. She brought much joy to you three and all that new her. I loved Aunt Flora and know she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and congregation.
    I have never forgotten the good times we had when visiting from California and your family always provided such a warm welcome.
    Now that the Lord has taken her home, she is reunited with all who love her. My Mom Louisa, Adelle, Harriet and Irene are rejoicing today in the Lord. God Bless...
